Let's go to Ariège to make you discover the talent of Fabien Haurat, woodturner. Very close to Mirepoix, in Manses, his workshop is a concentrate of smells of different local wood species. Fabien realizes decorative and useful objects with real passion. Each mark, roughness, shade of color or knot is preserved to reveal the abrupt beauty of wood.

You can't miss to visit the mediaeval bastide town Mirepoix when you go to Ariège; a place that fills you with memories with its couverts, its picturesque facades, its Monday morning market and the warm welcome of its inhabitants and traders. In the heart of the city, within the hotel restaurant "Relais de Mirepoix", GARANCE CASSIEN carried out one of her last photo shoots.
